Prof. Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain

Md. Anwar Hossain received the B.Sc. Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering(EEE) from the Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology(RUET), Rajshahi, Bangladesh, in 2001, the M.E. degree in Information and Communication Technology(ICT) from the Asian Institute of Technology(AIT) Pathumthani, Thailand, in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Information Engineering under Interdisciplinary Intelligent Systems Engineering from the University of the Ryukyus, Nishihara, Japan, in 2013. Since January 2020, he has been serving as a Professor of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), Dhaka, Bangladesh and he served Department of EEE of RUET, AIUB, and GUB from 2002 to 2004, 2006 to 2018, and 2018 to 2020, respectively. He is also doing research with EEE Department, Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), School of Electronics and Telecommunications, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam, and the University of the Ryukyus, Japan. His research interests include photonic sensors, biophotonics, photonic crystals fibers, optoelectronic devices and systems, antenna array signal processing (Beamforming), CDMA, optical CDMA, and OFDM. He received Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) in 2015. Prof. Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain is a Fellow of IEB and a Senior Member of IEEE, USA.
