ISLAMIC RESEARCH (IR) or Jurnal Kajian Peradaban Islam (JKPIS) (Linking ISSN 2654-3974  and ISSN 2829-4890, IR—The International Journal of Islamic Civilization Studies) is a blind peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal studying Islamic civilization published by Perhimpunan Intelektual Muslim Indonesia. IR is motivated by a lack of Muslim-spiritual values to understand the contribution of Islam to the development of many scientific disciplines for modern civilization. Hence, IR attempts to integrate such kinds of scientific disciplines into Islam as a way of life in modern civilization. For this purpose, IR is designed as a unique peer-reviewed open-access online scientific journal that provides a multidisciplinary, national, international, and interfaith forum for scientists from multidiscipline areas. It encourages reflective thinking and progressive working on modern Islamic civilization. IR welcomes theoretical or empirical studies about the application of Islamic and Sharia concepts in many disciplines, including social science, economics, politics, natural science and technology, and law.

ISLAMIC RESEARCH has the previous name “Jurnal Kajian Peradaban Islam” from edition 1(1) 2018 until 4(2) 2021.
